Description:

• Hybrid Remote, Purpose of Role/Organizational Unit: This organizational unit is responsible for managing data architecture, development, and operational services delivery of the various elements of the data and analytics management including master data management, data cleansing and quality. In this capacity, this Big Data SME role is responsible for implementing Business Intelligence solutions for financial and sales planning services.

Functions Performed: The following functions are the responsibility of the Big Data SME within Data and Analytics team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop business intelligence solutions for various budgeting and planning problems
• Deploy the solutions on state-of-the-art infrastructure
• Engage and interact with business users to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
• Monitor server performance, usage, scheduled tasks, and ability to research issues via logs
• Manage deployed applications, look for optimizations, present findings and discuss results with projects and business units
• Periodic evaluation of the product roadmap for upgrades, analyze the changes/impact and collaborate with support on updates
• Work with users to address ad-hoc data analysis requests; determine the proper course of action; and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to properly manage one’s own workload
• Know how to obtain & manage a sufficient set of usable data from multiple sources, including manipulating noisy and irregular data to produce clean datasets
• Eager to learn new data domains
• Be a team player, proactive, an effective communicator with ability to work independently
• SQL knowledge is must

Unique Competencies:

• Strong experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning and budgeting implementations
• Deep knowledge of SAC administration, Data Integrations (using CORS, LDO, cloud agent connectors), user access management (Roles, Teams, Rights), Migrations
• Knowledge of BI Tools like SAP BI 4.2, Tableau and QlikView are preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Data Modeling and data integration, BI Lifecycle experience
• Advanced experience in data analytics, visualizations, reporting etc.
• Predictive modeling and algorithms
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and BW 4 HANA
