About The Job


We Are Currently Looking To Recruit A Business Analyst Project Support To Join Our Client, Whom Are A Well-recognised And Sought-after Financial Services Employer Based In Redhill.


The Purpose Of This Role Is To Support A Strategic In-flight Business And Digital Transformation Project In The Contract Hire Business With Longer Term Intentions To Support Other Business Projects. This Role Is Not An It Ba As It Sits Within The Business Project Office.


The Main Purpose Of This Role Is To Support The Project Managers Executing The Ongoing And New Projects. The Job Holder Will Ideally Possess Experience Within A Similar Role In The Financial Services Industry And Be Comfortable Liaising With Multiple Internal Business Stakeholders On All Levels And With External Supplies / 3Rd Parties.


More About The Day To Day To Requirement

Facilitating And Supporting Information Gathering Workshops.

Working With Business Users To Identify, Analyse, Evaluate And Problem Solve Operational Issues.

Documenting Business Needs Including Business Processes And Requirements.

Gaining Business And Key Stakeholder Buy-in To Requirements.

Managing Third Party Contributions To The Projects.

Supporting The Business In Defining (And Where Appropriate Executing) Test Plans Including Creating Test Scenarios.

Understanding And Contributing To Project Plans And Implements Agreed Actions In A Timely Manner.

Adheres To The Agreed Project Methodology And Provides Feedback Where Appropriate.

Proactively Provides Project Support To The Project Manager And Project Teams.

Managing Project Risks And Issues.

Where Necessary Adopts The Role Of The Project Manager On Smaller Changes.

Assists Business Users In Implementation And Embedding Of Change.

Deal With Or Escalate Any Identified Risks In Relation To Risk Policies And/Or Legislative And Regulatory Guidelines In Accordance The Group Risk Framework.

About You…


Significant Practical Experience In A Similar Role With Demonstrable Experience Of Delivering Projects To Time, Quality And Budget Is Essential, With The Ability To Perform Basic Project Management Duties Including Planning, Issue/Risk Management, Governance. Experience And Ability To Work Within Waterfall And Agile Project Management Frameworks. Extensive Experience In Creating Business Analysis Documentation (E. G. Process Flows And Description)


You Will Have Strong Business Process Mapping (Visio) And Analysis Experience And Proven Analytical And Problem-solving Skills. In Addition You Will Have Stakeholder Management And Conflict Resolution Experience, As Well As Involvement In Managing Business Stakeholder Workshops.


Qualifications

Ideally The Candidate Will Be Qualified To Iseb / Istqb Or Equivalent Level.

Iiba, Bcs, Pmi Or Equivalent Business Analysis Certification An Advantage

Project Management Qualification Or Equivalent - Prince Ii, Pmp Or Agile Pm Certification An Advantage
