Skills & Experience Required
1. 4-7 years of work experience in software development using Core JAVA, software configuration/deployment based on project requirements
2. Primary skills: Strong object-oriented programming experience in Core JAVA, XML parsing using Core JAVA, understanding/reading XMLs/XSDs/XSLTs 3. Excellent knowledge of Multithreading, Exception Handling, Collection framework, and Design patterns. 4. Hands-on experience writing unit test cases using the Junit Mockito framework.
5. Secondary skills: SQL, PL/SQL & UNIX (basic knowledge), working on virtual machines/clusters and Linux environment
6. Tooling: Microsoft VISIO, SQL Developer/TOAD, Altova Mapforce, Apache Maven/Ant, IBM Synergy/Change, JIRA/Bitbucket
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication skills
8. Able to work independently on projects
Roles& Responsibilities:
Develop project objectives by reviewing project requirements, conferring with management
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements
• Determine project specifications by studying product design and customer requirements
• Work closely with solution architects, software architects, and product owners to discuss requirements and resolve issues
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
• Design and develop good software using JAVA
• Configure project based on requirements
• Debugging, Enhancement, and Defect Resolution using JAVA and SQL, PL/SQL
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
• Test project solutions and resolve issues found during testing
• Provide commissioning and stand-by support during project go-live
