Link’s Digital Transformation Officer Post Is Grant Funded By Scottish Government’s Technology Enabled Care Programme.


Link Is Looking For A Digital Transformation Officer Who Will Work Within The Older Persons Service To Plan And Implement The Transition Of Existing Telecare Services From Analogue To End-to-end Digital In Our 11 Sheltered And Retirement Plus Developments. More Extensively, The Postholder Will Pilot Opportunities To Extend Services Across Our Mainstream Housing.


The Role Involves Responsibility For The Digital Services Function Within Sheltered And Retirement Plus Developments. The Digital Transformation Officer Will Use Digital Innovation To Integrate Health & Social Care With Housing In A Very Practical Way, Assisting Tenants To Live Independently In Their Homes.


The Successful Candidate Will Improve And Streamline Current Delivery Of Out-of-hours Alarm Receiving Centre (Arc) Services To Tenants Through Procurement Processes. The Digital Transformation Officer Will Establish Relationships With Colleagues In The Scottish Government’s Technology Enabled Care Team, Across Link Group, And With External Partners To Deliver On The Analogue To Digital Transformation Of Existing Warden Call Systems And The Delivery Of New Telecare Services To Tenants Living In Our Communities.


About You


As Digital Transformation Officer, You Will Be Educated To Degree/Hnc/D Level In A Relevant Discipline And/Or Have Extensive Experience Working In A Relevant Role With Telecare Systems The Successful Candidate Will Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills And Will Be A Self-starter Who Thrives On Change, Learning And Innovation.


This Role Requires The Ability To Meet Demanding Deadlines, Take Ownership Of Problems And See Them Through To Resolution. You Will Have The Ability To Form Effective Relationships With Both Internal And External Stakeholders And Will Have Commitment To Cross Departmental Team Working.


This Role Requires The Ability To Analyse And Diagnose Problems And Implement Effective Solutions, And The Ability To Manage Budgets And Projects Within Timescales And To Meet Projected Costs And Quality Standards. The Digital Transformation Officer Will Be Able To Understand And Introduce New Technology, And Will Have Excellent Project Management Skills And The Ability To Lead Multi-departmental Working Groups.


You Will Have The Ability To Review And Improve Working Practices, Systems, And Procedures To Enhance Performance And Ensure Compliance. You Will Have The Capacity For Early Identification Of Risks And Issues That May Impact A Project.


Proven Experience Of Creating Business Value Improvement By Engineering Business Processes To Improve Productivity And Introducing Innovation Is Essential For This Role. The Successful Postholder Will Have Experience Of Performance Management, Performance Frameworks And Reporting, And Will Have Experience Of Strategic/Operational Planning In The Delivery Of Services. As Digital Transformation Officer, You Will Have A Track Record Of Developing, Implementing And Managing Complex Ict Projects And Experience Of Procurement Management.
