As an established developer of health and wellbeing management and engagement software, our solutions are used nationwide. We design well researched, high quality products delivering tactile experiences for all audiences. Located on Staffordshire Technology Park, we’re looking for UK-based Front End Developer / Designers to join our friendly, motivated team. The role is ideal for graduates with a Batchelors degree in a design, web development, or other relevant subject, looking to start or continue their career in a supportive environment with ample opportunities for growth. You’ll get to work on projects that make a real difference to people’s lives, including systems that are of national importance. Front End Developer / Designer Requirements
- Relevant degree or experience in related discipline. Please note we would like to see an up-to-date portfolio of your work
- Strong capabilities with HTML, CSS, SCSS, JQuery and JavaScript
- Good communication skills, including confidence to host meetings with clients and demonstrate progress
- Ability to produce clean, smart, cross-browser compatible code that works optimally across different devices
- Proficiency with Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC
- Working knowledge of responsive CSS frameworks, such as Foundation and Bootstrap Front End Developer / Designer Desirable Experience
- User Experience Design (UXD) principles including research, user journey creation and persona development
- 2 years experience of WordPress development and wider PHP development
- Ability to develop custom WordPress themes using PHP
- Understanding of accessibility and usability best practice
- Graphic design
- Technical on-website SEO, link building and universal search
- Coding and development of responsive emails What we offer you
- £25,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
- Permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
- Regular one-to-one meetings with a member of our management team
