Job title: QA Manual Testing Engineer

Work you’ll do

You’ll:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Execute test scenarios and cases under varying circumstances
- Documents and evaluates test results
- Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
- Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
- Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
- Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Required Skills
- Experience— 2 years to 5 years
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced level of English
Preferred Skills
- Proficient in testing protocols
- Expert of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in (any of) Engineering or Information Technology
