ManTech is seeking a Knowledge Management Coordinator to lead a team of editors and technical writers to support knowledge transfer and customer support efforts. Leads staff in the implementation and delivery of Technical Writing Services adhering to Knowledge Centered Service standards. Serves as liaison across other organizations and contracts.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To


  • Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads information for use in documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications.
  • Provides expert, timely editing support for reports, proposals, articles, and other documents.
  • Leads staff in the implementation and delivery of Technical Writing Services adhering to Knowledge Centered Service standards.
  • Serves as liaison across other organizations and contracts.
  • Develops clear-written materials for various constituents, such as operations, technical manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems
  • Interviews staff to collect information and specifications
  • Collects and organizes information and coordinates layout for publication
  • Adheres to established terminology, style and editorial quality standards
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
  • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • May lead functional teams or projects
  • Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized area and general knowledge of related areas
  • May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

Basic Qualifications


  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience or 11 years of experience in lieu of degree

Security Clearance Requirements


  • Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph.


Physical Requirements


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
