Position Overview
Align seeks a .Net Developer to provide Align seeks a .Net Developer to provide customer f acing support of Align's proprietary software tools suite, Asset Point, and related professional services solutions. On-going client support of internally developed database tools, and assistance with integrating these applications to a broader web-based tool suite. Provide data management and analysis during the course of Data Centre Consolidation and Optimization projects. The role will also include business analysis, custom reporting, and integration script development. Build and support projects and reporting tools within the Asset Point, inventory and other technology solution offerings. Analyze client issues, identify potential solutions and execute confirmed solution. Gather business requirements from client and write specifications for developers to execute or implement by its own.
Critical to this position is good practical experience on the Microsoft platform with hands-on programming skills in .Net and C#. The successful candidate will have had previous experience as a .Net Programmer with particular experience in web development and C#.

  • The .Net Developer will be based out of our London office; however, occasional travel (Less than 20%) may be expected

Responsibilities

  • Understand program and/or project scope and populate and develop associated templates according to project requirements
  • Provide customer facing support of Align's proprietary software tools suite, Asset Point, and related professional services solutions
  • On-going client support of internally developed database tools, and assistance with integrating these applications to a broader web-based tool suite
  • Provide data management and analysis during the course of Data Centre Consolidation and Optimization projects

Qualifications
Required Skills

  • Hands on experience in Microsoft .NET development
  • Hands on experience on C#
  • Experience in designing and developing enterprise wide web based applications in a .Net environment using C#.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Strong communication skills with a client focus
  • Ability to translate user specifications into customer solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexible in assisting other Align professionals/teams as required
  • College degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Skills

  • iPhone/iPad app development experience a strong plus
  • Objective-C/Swift experience a strong plus
  • Java Script experience a plus
  • Experience with RESTful API is desired
  • Microsoft Visio experience a plus
  • Experience with SQL Server a strong plus
  • BI Reporting skills a strong plus
  • Basic Project Management experience would be a plus
  • Technical support role experience
  • Experience writing RFPs, proposals.
