Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

A day in the life

This role is for a full-stack developer with an emphasis on designing highly scalable and extensible applications. As an SDE you are expected to design flexible and scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale systems by utilizing your skills in object oriented programming.

About The Team

This is a new org in ADFS, our charter is to build an end-to-end supply chain catalog solution to serve rapidly growing diverse customer base. It is an exciting opportunity to build solutions with cutting edge technologies and highly distributed systems designed by Sr. Engineers across different catalog and fulfillment orgs. We have a low operations load and make conscious efforts for the team members to have a great work-life balance.

Basic Qualifications

• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 1+ years of experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional business and software development teams.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis. The ability to produce code that is fault-tolerant, efficient and maintainable.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases.
• Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
