The role

We are looking to recruit a Junior Software Developer to join the team in Shipley.

Role Criteria

The Software Developer supports the development of the business and engineering systems. In particular, the internal PLM system and external portal, as well as the MRP systems, production data capture and other additional business critical software and projects.

Main Duties will include: Liaising with stakeholders to identify their systems requirements, troubleshoot problems that arise and help keep all systems running smoothly / As you develop your experience in the business, the role will expand to evaluate and explore every aspect of the business operation and identify key areas to improve the efficiency of the organisation. This includes creating reports and other documentation outlining your findings and solutions / You will also be responsible for implementation and training on these systems.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

You will have a degree level qualification in a Computing/Software Engineering discipline, along with expedience in software and database development, working to industry standards with knowledge of underlying system architectures. In addition, you will be procifient in C# .NET, SQL(MYSQL / MSSQL) and JavaScript.

Package and further details

• Starting Grade C8 which equates to £28,035
• Bonus and pension scheme
• 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
• 37.5 hours per week on days.
