Full Time 6 Month Contract (Initially)
I Am Working With A Leading Design Business In Their Search For A Hr Assistant To Join Their Team. Initially This Would Be A 6 Month Contract With The Potential For An Extension/Permanent Employment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Available To Start Asap And Have Previous Experience Working In A Hr Capacity (Cipd Level 3 Desirable But Not Essential). This Is A Popular And Growing Company With Excellent Development Opportunities For The Right Candidates!
Assist With Managing The Recruitment Process, Including Advertising Vacancies, Briefing Agencies, Collating Applications, Communicating With Candidates, Assisting Managers With The Selection Process, Interviewing, And Ensuring Job Descriptions Are In Place.
Administration Of New Starters, Including Offer Documentation/Contracts, Pre-employment Vetting Checks, References.
Create And Maintain Hr Records, Both Manually And Electronically, For Employee Changes, New Starters, Leavers Etc.
Updating The Company Time And Attendance System.
Updating Company Policies, Procedures And Iso Documents And Forms.
Monitoring Attendance And Absences, Ensuring Required Paperwork Is Returned And Preparing Reports.
Update And Maintain The Skills & Training Matrix, Completing Monthly Citb Training Details.
Overseeing Training Administration Including Arranging Courses, Updating Records, And Identifying Training Needs Via Pdrs
Provide Day-to-day Hr Advice To Line Managers And Employees, Using Knowledge Of Employment Law Etc.
Organise, Support And Participate In Informal And Formal Meetings Such As Disciplinaries, Grievances And Appeal Hearings.
Organise Company Fuel Cards And Oyster Cards And Maintaining Records.
Reception Cover On Occasion As Required Via Phone Or In Person.
General Administration, Helping With Hr Projects Where Required.
An Experienced Hr Assistant
Flexible, Organised, Able To Prioritise Workloads, Solve Problems And Make Decisions.
Calm Under Pressure And Can Work Under Your Own Initiative
A Strong Written And Verbal Communicator With An Eye For Detail And Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
Highly Proficient In The Use Of Excel, Word, Outlook And Powerpoint.
Cipd Level 3.
Experience Of Working Within Construction And Manufacturing Environment Would Be An Advantage.
Hours: Monday To Friday 09:00-17:30 Or 08:30- 17:00
Employment Type: Initial 6 Month Contract
